The only message I get upon a double click on the new device is: *unable to mount selected volume* and in details *mount: can't find /dev/sdb1 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab* - excerpt from dmesg after plugging disc in and lshal will be attached after. I just see, might be an important fact: sdb1 is an NTFS partition. In case THIS is the problem, the bug should be changed to an 'Enhancement' -> give better feedback to the user about the problem. Maybe just after plugging in (and when showing the Desktop Icon) a msg box telling that due to the fact of lack in support for NTFS, this disc can not be mounted automatically.
