[Bug 225701] New: Non-GNOME applications on other workspaces highlighted in panel
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=225701 Summary: Non-GNOME applications on other workspaces highlighted in panel Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: RC 5 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: hmacht@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: thoenig@novell.com If non-GNOME applications are running on a different workspace than the current active one, after a short time, the other applications are highlighted in the gnome panel. However, I have configured the window list applet to only show windows from current workspace in the GNOME panel. Clicking on the hihglighted window leads to a switch to the workspace where this application is running. I weren't able to to find a configuration option or a gconf key to disable this behaviour. It is really annoying when using GNOME with any kind of GNOME-foreign applications. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Screenshot will be attached. Howto reproduce. Start konsole and any other application on workspace one. Give "the other" application focus. Switch to workspace two and back to one. Now konsole window in the panel signals 'activity', blinks and is present on every workspace. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
