Can you use a new cable here? or plug the hub into the proper power slot? Or is this the root hub? Your previous message: [ 4235.248103] hub 6-0:1.0: port 2 disabled by hub (EMI?), re-enabling... shows something bad is wrong electrically with your system. After that happened, everything broke with USB. As that happened after the system had been up for a while, what happened?
