I confirm the problem with a terminal output:
Cost center model created with items 0 Payees model created with items 0 [11625:11648:0529/013422.564220:ERROR:nss_util.cc(808)] After loading Root Certs, loaded==false: NSS error code: -8018 [1:1:0100/000000.721704:ERROR:broker_posix.cc(41)] Invalid node channel message
Maybe it's related to the crash? Currently I'm not sure what that means though, or how to maybe "fix" it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Since dumb.kmy was brand new, I don't think the data file is the problem.
Can you still attach it please? That's the only idea I have at the moment, especially as you didn't get the NSS error from QtWebEngine. Btw, I don't see the "Cost center model created with items 0" and "Payees model created with items 0" either. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Hm, I just downloaded and tried a Leap 15.1 Rescue LiveCD (with XFCE), and kmymoney does *not* crash either.
As "kmymoney -n" avoids the crash, it might be related to the .kmy file maybe? Could somebody affected attach it please?
See https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/extragear-office/kmymoney/details.formats. anonymous.html for how to generate an anonymous file.
At long last I was able to understand how to do this, but it needed opening my data file in AppImage and saving as anon.kmy, however size! No Anon file sent as my file size exceeds the anon file limit by factor of 2.6! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

200190616 I still have this bug. You have sent messages to do a triage report. However I do not understand how to do this. I'm not sure what/who you mean here.
As I wrote already, your upstream bug report (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407902) is still in state NEEDSINFO/WAITINGFORINFO, and that triggered an automated response now that the bug report will be closed automatically if you don't provide the requested information. Again, you (as the reporter) need to change the status back to REPORTED. If you don't, it will just be closed without further action. And I'm still not convinced that this is an openSUSE-specific problem, or that we will be able to find the reason... (In reply to Michael Calmer from comment #14)
Created attachment 807161 [details] crash dump
Not sure if it helps, but I have a crash dump with debug symbols.
Unfortunately, that doesn't show much more than the already existing crash dump (without debug symbols) in the upstream bug report. Maybe running it in valgrind would give a clue... Can you please try that? See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_usef... for instructions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

PS: as the original konsole output shows an error related to QtWebEngine, I built kmymoney with QtWebKit instead now. Might be interested to know if the crash is related to QWE or not.
The package is available here: https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/wolfi323:/branches:/KDE:/ Extra/openSUSE_Leap_15.1/
You can install it by adding that URL as repo and switch kmymoney via the "Versions" tab in YaST, or just download the kmymoney-5.0.4-xxx.rpm file and install it with "sudo rpm -Uvh filename.rpm".
WORKS! With these packages I can start kmymoney again without -n parameter. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

An upstream kmymoney developer was finally able to reproduce the crash, investigated, and pushed a fix.
Can somebody please try the new package from here please? https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/wolfi323:/branches:/KDE:/ Extra/openSUSE_Leap_15.1/
If it indeed fixes the crash, I'll submit a maintenance update for Leap 15.1. (although, the 5.0.5 bugfix release is imminent anyway, I'm contemplating to submit this instead of just the crash fix)
After a fresh install (no update / no existing /home) of openSUSE 15.1 i experienced the very same problem as described in this bug report. My system: KDE-plasma 5.12.8 KDE-frameworks 5.55.0 QT 5.9.7 Kernel 4.12.14-lp151.28.7-default The package you provided fixed the problem on my system. To KDE bugzilla team, Erm, this is *openSUSE*'s bugzilla, not KDE's... ;-)
Anyway, I think we have enough confirmations meanwhile that the fix works. KMymoney 5.0.5 (which includes the crash fix) has been released today, I already updated the testing package to the new version if somebody likes to test it, and will submit it to KDE:Extra and Leap 15.1 later. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
