[Bug 189310] Setting the default domain resolution in DNS server config not possible
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=189310 locilka@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REOPENED |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Comment #6 from locilka@novell.com 2007-01-11 07:24 MST ------- - New possibility to add @ as a DNS record key that actually means $zone_name. "@" is immediately transformed to the $zone_name. Also reading the current zone files supports that transformation (#189310). - yast2-dns-server-2.15.0 (openSUSE 10.3 / Factory) It would be quite buggy behavior when it was possible to use "@", that's why you can enter "@" in UI but then it is transformed into the zone name. Anyway, now, you can define the IP of the entire "example.com" either using "example.com. IN NS 1.2.3.4" or "@ IN NS 1.2.3.4". "@" can be used only for record key, not for value (e.g, not for "xyz IN NS @"). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
