The following fake MIME types have been removed and should be replaced as follows:
all/allfiles ➙ application/octet-stream all/all ➙ application/octet-stream+inode/directory uri/{mms,mmst,mmsu,pnm,rtspt,rtsptu} ➙ x-scheme-handler/...
The message is safe to ignore. Update summary and assign to kdelibs4 maintainer for handling. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

This is actually the post-rpm-transaction call to update-mime-database, part of the shared-mime-info package. To reproduce:
# update-mime-database /usr/share/mime Unknown media type in type 'all/all' Unknown media type in type 'all/allfiles'
This is in the file: /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml
<mime-type type="all/allfiles">
Removing said file removes the message.
This is actually a long-running KDE bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303627 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=250924
This was removed in KDE5: https://github.com/KDE/kcoreaddons/commit/ 36ff1bf60c9b12c28ed4d7566abceac10cab345e

This is the file on my system, its quite large and was touched by "something" just over a month ago -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 250589 Jun 5 22:58 /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml the kde bug report you mentioned says "They still are defined in the old kdelibs package, but we cannot remove them because it would break all the kde4 apps that are still using them." So rather than delete, would it just be better to ignore? If so, shall i close this report? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Yes the issue should be ignored.
As a work-around, you can also edit the file and run update-mime-database, or remove kdelibs4 altogether.
I did not want to preempt a decision of the KDE maintainers, but this may be closed as resolved-wontfix.
thanks for the clarification. do i close it or will you? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
