This is for an OmniVideo integrated laptop webcam in a Dell XPS 1730. When I run "webkam" (also as root), it also does not work. In the "Device" tab, it shows "Laptop Integrated Webcam" as the device, "Camera 1" as the Input, and has a blank pulldown next to the "Standard" field.
