There was nothing strange, just the messages were not delivered. Messages like status changing (Idle, OnLine,...) were delivered properly, the other direction of the communication kept working. If I can establish this is where the problem lies i have excluded it being a server bug. Using the updated kdenetwork3-InstantMessenger I can still reproduce the error using this protocol: - both user A and B have installed the updated package kdenetwork3-InstantMessenger-3.5.1-32.29 on SLED10-SP1 - both user A and user B connect to the GW messaging server - user B start a chat with user A - user A accept the chat and responds - both user A and B see the text typed of both parties - user B disconnects (in my case: destroys the VNC session) - user A get's a message that user B left the chat - user B connects to the GW messaging server from a different host (while user A has still open the old chat window) - user A sees that user B is available again - user B starts a chat with user A - user A sees (in his old chat window) the text typed by user B - user B can not see the text typed by user A (he can not even see that user A is typing) - user A get's a popup with this message: """ Kopete was not able to send the last message sent on account 'XXXXXXX'.
