[Bug 231805] New: How do I set laptop to suspend when lid is closed?
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=231805 Summary: How do I set laptop to suspend when lid is closed? Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ammulder@chariotsolutions.com QAContact: qa@suse.de In SuSE 10.1 I believe there was a screen in the YaST power management tool that let me configure ACPI actions -- in particular, set my laptop to suspend when the lid is closed. In openSUSE 10.2, I can't find a similar setting in either the YaST power management tool or the KPowersave configuration (and the default is to leave the machine running when the lid is closed). I'm hoping I'm just overlooking something -- it would be inconvenient if there was not such a setting any more. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
