A:Mainly: No. It was like that(some days/weeks ago, so the memory is working hard) I tried to get apache up since two month or so for getting access to mysql via phpmyadmin. In yast2->runlevel I tried to switch apache in running state and get a question popup which ask somethings like "you want to chanche...(maybe it was the init.de of apache)". I thought that it could be necessary because of some updates and give my o.k., but apache was not able to come up. I saw this the first time and not very long. The above is not very helpful, but was I tried to point out is that I do no manually changes and nothing that was not guided by the system. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=708095 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=708095#c6 --- Comment #6 from melchiaros melchiaros <melchiaros@aol.com> 2011-07-31 10:32:14 UTC --- I´ve tried it with a virtualmachine of openSUSE11.4. -> No,chance! I had figured arround on this virtualmachine with obs and the tools:/obs repro, also all community repros are enabled. When I tried to get up apache there it fails also. A downgrade from tools:/obs to 11.4 actualization brings no help. Another downgrade to 11.4 OSS repro brings also no help. I´ve also tried my luck with a virtual openSUSE12.1: result at Bug 709435 I´am just try it with a openSUSE11.3 virtualmachine...and: Yes, it works. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Otherwise check the content of the file if it gives some hints where it comes from. BTW: a2enflag SSL ; rcapache2 restart should fix the issue on your system if you need apache running. However it doesn't fix this bug - please (try to) answer the question where ip-based_vhosts.conf comes from even if a2enflag fixes the issue on your system. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=708095 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=708095#c10 --- Comment #10 from melchiaros melchiaros <melchiaros@aol.com> 2011-08-01 10:27:28 UTC --- I´ve tried: rpm -qf /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/ip-based_vhosts.conf file /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/ip-based_vhosts.conf is not owned by any package Than I looked in the file directly and see(first tree lines): VirtualHost *:80> # just give an overview about this OBS instance via static web page DocumentRoot "/srv/www/obs/overview" So it must come from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tools/openSUSE_11.4/ and one of the obs packages. I´ve only installed and not more this packages on my hostsystem(where this error report based on) and figuring on obs in a 11.4 guest where it is also installed. --> So,it must ship direct with installation of obs packages and is not a consequence of configuration after installation. I will attach the file. And thank you for the "a2enflag SSL ; rcapache2 restart" hint. I try it later this day. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
