[Bug 723079] New: Konqueror sometimes pops up "configure validation module" dialog when loading a bugzilla page
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=723079 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=723079#c0 Summary: Konqueror sometimes pops up "configure validation module" dialog when loading a bugzilla page Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=455421) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=455421) configuration dialog that opens unexpectedly Konqueror sometimes pops up the configuration dialog "configure validation module" (german: "Überprüfungsmodul einrichten", screenshot attached) when I access buglist.cgi on bugzilla.novell.com. This happens in about 10% or 20% of the times I load buglist.cgi. I'm always logged in to bugzilla, so I can't say if it also happens for non-logged in users. Once I got an interesting page "header" from buglist.cgi: (The "Please stand by ..." is formatted as headline - red, bold, centered) Please stand by ... --------- =_aaaaaaaaaa0 Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 content-disposition: inline; filename="bugs-2011-10-10.html" Set-Cookie: LASTORDER=changeddate%20DESC%2Cbug_severity%2Cnov_sr_count%20DESC%2Cbug_id%20DESC; path=/; expires=Fri, 01-Jan-2038 00:00:00 GMT Set-Cookie: BUGLIST=689458%3A720617%3A688040%3A690682%3A678749%3A713647%3A682098%3A686461; path=/; expires=Fri, 01-Jan-2038 00:00:00 GMT followed by the normal content of buglist.cgi. Nevertheless: whatever s**t a website delivers - it should never be able to trigger the appearance of a browser configuration dialog! This seems to be a regression in KDE 4.7.x - I used the KDE 4.6 repo on 11.4 and never got this behaviour. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

However I can't activate this plugin -> it's not in the Tools menu. Are you using webkit or khtml renderers? Any idea how to trigger it manually? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

In the meantime, I'm using webkit (which comes with a different set of bugs, but doesn't open the web validator magically or display the "Please stand by..." text). IIRC I used khtml when reporting this bug. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
