Not reproducable today. That's what I feared - from time to time I get similar errors which aren't reproducible afterwards. Maybe the API or something else return "garbage" or something which isn't handled properly by osc..
Happend with the internal build service.
the sequence was roughly
osc co home:jnweiger packagename cd home:jnweiger/packagename rm package-0.15.tar.gz wget from/somewhere/package-0.16.tar.gz vi *.spec vi *.changes osc ci Afterwards an "osc st" should look like this: ! package-0.15.tar.gz ? package-0.16.tar.gz M bla.spec M bla.changes (in case bla.* is already part of the wc). Actually committing this should work flawlessly.
