After that, kupdateapplet reports "DBus error : Unable to get transaction id from packagekit." Running packagekitd -v reveals: - opening module zypp failed : /usr/lib/packagekit-backend/libpk_backend_zypp.so: undefined symbol: _ZNK4zypp4Date4formERKSs (that symbol is zypp::Date::form(std::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> > const&) const ) yast2 --gtk -i fails with "Could not load plug-in gtk_pkg". yast2-ncurses works. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The function was acidentally turned into an inline one. We lost binary compatibility without indicating it in the version.
