The rectangle is finished. If I trie this with another picture a second time the selection tool works in another way. The first click will become the middle of the rectangle. There is no way for me to reconfigure the selection tool to work like in the first pass. Yesterday I found out, that gimp set the option of the rectangle selection tool for the second selection to expand from center.
