You can install Leap 42.3 kernel on your Leap 15.1 system and see whether the problem is gone. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1135950 http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1135950#c2 --- Comment #2 from Ludwig Nussel <lnussel@suse.com> --- The system was upgrading from 42.3 to 15.1 connected to wifi while running the update. After reboot wifi didn't work anymore. Ralf just told me wifi works in his office now. So maybe related to frequency of the access point in the office? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1135950 http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1135950#c3 --- Comment #3 from Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.com> --- Yes, possible. In anyway, if the problem is reproducible, please try to install Leap 42.3 kernel on the already upgraded Leap 15.1 system *in addition*, and switch with each other and check whether the problem persists or is gone. Then we can see whether it's a kernel regression or not. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1135950 http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1135950#c5 Yifan Jiang <yfjiang@suse.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |yfjiang@suse.com --- Comment #5 from Yifan Jiang <yfjiang@suse.com> --- I remember I have seen the similar issue on the same workstation when looked into a Wifi issue. At that time, the log was quite similar populating from NM and wlan0. I am appending them. I remember the solution was to update the root ca_cert file, and setup a new wifi connection via nm-connection-editor with it. Then the authentication would be fine with the new network setup. So I think it's more or less related with the authentication setup after the migration, but it seems hard to reproduce nowadays. Perhaps we could close the bug and only reopen whenever it was triggered somewhen.
