I run openSuSE 11.4 in a VMWare PLayer. If I have booted and login in KDE. The resolution of the screen is 800x600 und the high of the controlbar is 26 and not maximided. Now I set the Screenresolution to 1290x1080, the Controlbar to 50 and maximided. If I now new boot an login in KDE the Screenresolution is again 800x600 and the Controlbar 26 and not maximided; i.e. the new settings are not saved. By openSuSE 11.2 was the same problem. I have it solved by running sax2. But openSuSE contains not sax2. 1. I think, that can not be a problem from vmware. were to be know the vmwareplayer the resolution of the screen(windows) ? I can dynamic change die resolution of the windows if the system runs. I think the resolution of the screen must definided in the Guestoperatingsystem. All other Guestoperationsystem do this so.
Ok. I basically agree.
2. If I set the resolution manualy, then Guestoperationsystem (in this Case openSuse) must start with the manual set screenresulution.
You've opened bnc #679078 for that. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
