http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1123731 Bug ID: 1123731 Summary: login.defs uid/gid values during autoyast install not respected (systemd specifc) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.0 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: yansys@yannix.net QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- This is related to bug 112769. The summary is the following values from my autoyast profile isn't respected by systemd. system_gid_max system_gid_min system_uid_max system_uid_min The (auto)yast devs have been nice enough to fix the issue with regards to login.defs. However, they have asked me to file a new bug specific to systemd since it has it's own view of what uid/gid min/max values. I'm happy to provide any debug logs, configs etc. Thanks -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

To clarify: The systemd-* users and groups created during install time always has uid/gid of 49[5-9] no matter what values is set for system_uid/gid min/max in our autoyast profile. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

This is related to bug 112769.
BTW this bug # seems totally unrelated...
I had a typ-o and don't know how to edit my original description. It's actually bug # 1112769 and I mentioned it on my 2nd comment. Thanks -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
