[Bug 907702] apcupsd: WARNING: Unknown value of HALT_POWERDOWN_INSERT in /etc/sysconfig/shutdown.
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=907702 Stanislav Brabec <sbrabec@suse.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |IN_PROGRESS --- Comment #1 from Stanislav Brabec <sbrabec@suse.com> --- Confirming. HALT_POWERDOWN_INSERT is now obsolete. To be clean, the script attempts to remove its setup. There are two values that were legal in some past versions: Very old apcupsd versions: /etc/apcupsd/apccontrol killpower More recent apcupsd versions: /etc/init\.d/apcupsd try-powerdown The script should never see the old form, and the only one where action is needed is the second one. But if the HALT_POWERDOWN_INSERT is already empty, the script should not complain. It is what we need. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
