I have started getting this message 3 or 4 times a day- Problem connecting to a software source There was a (possibly temporary) problem connecting to a software source. Please check the detailed error for further details. More details File '/content' not found on medium 'http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/11.2:/NonFree/standard/' I am not sure is this is a Zypper problem or a Yast problem, or neither. Since this message has started to appear, I have not received any new updates. Not sure if this is related to the problem or a coincidence. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.No action required by user 2.Information box goes away when closed by user 3.Information box reappears an hour or two later (I assume after an automatically timed ping of the repositories.) Actual Results: No action required by user. Expected Results: Auto identification/notification of software updates. There was a (possibly temporary) problem connecting to a software source. Please check the detailed error for further details. What is the command to compress a file
Ok,just do follow steps: #cd /var/log/ #tar zcvf y2logs.tgz YaST2/ #ls you will find the file y2logs.tgz in your current directory.
and what is the command to attach it?
There is a menu "add an attachment" on the left foot corner of this page.
