http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1000501 http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1000501#c9 --- Comment #9 from Mindaugas Baranauskas <opensuse.lietuviu.kalba@gmail.com> --- After reboot of openSUSE Leap 42.2 beta3 in VirtualBox - sound now works, though I removed sound card configuration... I checked VirtualBox Host audio configuration. Possible devices: 1) Intel HD Audio 2) ICH AC97 (default) 3) SoundBlaster16 Posible drivers: A) OSS B) ALSA C) PulseAudio (default) "Intel HD Audio" Working conbinations (even if sound card is shown as not configured in YaST): - PulseAudio + Intel HD Audio - ALSA + Intel HD Audio - ALSA + ICH AC97 Not working combinations: - PulseAudio + SoundBlaster16 - ALSA + SoundBlaster16 (OSS not tested) I did fresh install again of openSUSE Leap 42.2 beta3 in VirtualBox. PulseAudio + ICH AC97 combination. This time sound worked without additional configuration... I don't understand why I did not had sound previous... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
