However, when I tried sharing the internet connection to another laptop using an wired crossing-over lan cable (and following the guide at en.opensuse.org/ics) I was surprised by the fact that knetworkmanager doesn't seem to be able to hold more than one connection at a time. This came to my attention when I changed the configurations at YaST and my previously estabilished internet connection through this modem died. Anyway, I think yast should have an option like the one called "share internet connection over network" found in mandriva.
