http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1081325 Bug ID: 1081325 Summary: keyboard arrows do not work in MC running within gnome-terminal Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.0 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME Assignee: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: jobbara.artalmatlan@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0 Build Identifier: In a freshly installed Leap 15.0 beta I cannot use keyboard arrows for navigation / movement in mc (Midnight Commander) running in gnome-terminal. Though it works in xterm. Keyboard arrows = standard arrows in a qwertz / qwerty keyboard. It is not the numeric pad's arrows. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open up gnome-terminal 2. start mc 3. use the keyboard arrows to navigate Actual Results: Keypresses only have effect in mc's own commandline. Expected Results: I am able to navigate through directories. Jumping to the menu by pressing F9 works but I am not able to navigate there too. Standard gnome-terminal profile is being used. Only color scheme has been edited. I tested it on a QWERTZ keyboard with Hungarian keyboard layout. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

If I set it to 'linux' then it starts to work. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
