I have a similar problem on Sony Vaio PCG V505DP. The older sonypi module worked "out of the box" on 10.0. On 10.2,
.. we have a completely different kernel than on 10.3. Please file a separate bugreport. Thanks. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

If only kernel rpm could keep the old kernel it would simplifies test.
It actually can. Just install the second kernel with "rpm -hvi kernel2.rpm" instead of "rpm -hvU ...", then you will have both kernels installed and can choose the one you like to boot from the GRUB menu. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
