https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=280721 Summary: Upon initial boot of openSuse, GRUB error: "Error 15: File not found" Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 4plus Platform: 32bit OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jgrant@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I have only duplicated this bug on a box with an Intel 965g chipset. Other hardware seems to work fine. Steps to duplicate: 1. Install openSUSE 10.3 Alpha 4plus w/defaults on Intel 965G machine 3. After file copy, during reboot the GRUB menu will come up but will then give the error, "Error 15: File not found Press any key to continue..." Pressing a key will bring up the non graphical GRUB menu and the error will then repeat. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

One solution is to boot any livecd mount discs and copy files. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
