[Bug 517845] New: Search box must allow multiple keyword searches
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=517845 Summary: Search box must allow multiple keyword searches Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: openFATE AssignedTo: tschmidt@novell.com ReportedBy: PVince81@yahoo.fr QAContact: freitag@novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060200 SUSE/3.0.11-5.2 Firefox/3.0.11 The search box currently only allows to find exact matches in a portion of a title/description. For example if a feature title is "some interesting feature", it can be found by using "some interesting" and "interesting feature" but not using "some feature". The search box could use a syntax similar to google: use spaces to specify separate keywords and double quotes to group keywords. Another possiblity is like in bugzilla to have the possibility to choose between "contains any of the words" or "contains all the words" Reproducible: Always This feature is important, because the submitters are supposed to search through existing features before submitting a new feature, to prevent duplicates. Failing to easily find those features might cause more duplicate features to be submitted. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
