https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=309053#c2 --- Comment #2 from Harald Koenig 2007-09-10 13:03:40 MST --- sorry, but I just realize that all but one (uninteresting) screen shots are completely trash :-( I'll try to reproduce it... about the xwd problem: I run the following command on vc2 DISPLAY=:0 /mnt/usr/X11R6/bin/xwd -root > /mnt/root/xwd-output all those xwd output files with "-root" just show some memory dump from xwd instead of frame buffer data. the only good xwd output was created without "-root" option, so I had switch to vc7 and click on a window. shouldn't the Xserver support xwd even while not running on the active virtual console ?!? Please open new bugreport for xwd problem and keep policy one bug per report.

if you'd have just cut'n'pasted those few lines and created the new report yourself, this would have saved 3 days to understand/fix the problem. one item in performace optimisation is latency... see #310429 (3 days too late -- sorry:-(

was not available -- even 3 days later noone seems to be interested to try/reproduce himself, or at least no information that you see the same problem and it's not necessary for me to spend another 30+ minutes to reproduce. ok, I'll retry -- screen shots later...
