Run the script with --no-upload option, and attach to Bugzilla. Also, give the contents of /proc/asound/card*/eld#* files. You seem to have two HDMIs connected, but only the first one is detected, judging from the grep output above. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

As eld proc file has a certain content, at this moment, the HDMI device was properly detected and the sound driver should have set up the pin and the converter widgets properly. It's for checking the state of the digital converter widget (NID 0x03 or the PantherPoint codec). Meanwhile, we need to double-check whether the detected HDMI port really corresponds to the expected one. Disconnect the HDMI cable and check eld# proc file again. Is the state changed? Of course, another worth thing to test would be upgrading to the latest kernel, 3.14.0. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

As was afraid, it's likely an issue of the video driver side. Better to report on either fdo bugzilla or bko bugzilla. Still testing a newer kernel would be requested for the upstream report, though. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
