I have installed cln, and ginac-1.6.2 On ginac-1.6.2 directory and with /configure /make I have had a problem with gcc-4.7 which I do not have. There is only gcc-4.8. Workaround: /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux#cp -r 4.8 4.7 Now make of ginac-1.6.2 compiles fine and also octave-symbolic. Cheers, Hans Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.make 2. 3.
