This is a mayor problem because in my language there are several marked chars. K3b warns me for this: System locale charset is ANSI_X3.4-1968 Your system's locale charset (i.e. the charset used to encode filenames) is set to ANSI_X3.4-1968. It is highly unlikely that this has been done intentionally. Most likely the locale is not set at all. An invalid setting will result in problems when creating data projects. Solution: To properly set the locale charset make sure the LC_* environment variables are set. Normally the distribution setup tools take care of this. and after I receive this message from GNOME: There was an error starting the GNOME Settings Daemon. Some things, such as themes, sounds, or background settings may not work correctly. The last error message was: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus) GNOME will still try to restart the Settings Daemon next time you log in. Maybe it fixed already!? My system updates itself every day. very funny situation... :-\ I set its status to LATER. I will check locale in every day. I restart my system 2 -3 times a day, and I often use CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE. If the problem would appear again, I will tell you.
