http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1051054 Bug ID: 1051054 Summary: lualatex does not compile document that uses texlive-algorithm2e package Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.3 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: kacper.pluta@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- "lualatex does not build documents that use the algorithm2e package. Minimal working example: \documentclass{article} \usepackage{algorithm2e} \begin{document} \section{Hallo Welt!} \end{document} The error message is (/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/latex/algorithm2e/algorithm2e.sty (/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/latex/base/ifthen.sty) ! String contains an invalid utf-8 sequence. l.1311 \renewcommand{\algorithmcflinename}{ izizgi}% Indeed, line 1311 of algorithm2e.sty does contain some 'nonstandard' letters. They look okay in an editor, but I don't know enough about encoding to investigate further."
