Seeing that bug #531836 probably won't be fixed for 11.3, are we to work around this problem also in 11.3 for KDE?
It might be safer, indeed. The issue is that it's kind of hacky to split gconf2-branding-openSUSE based on the Requires in there :/ -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Workaround added for 11.3 too.

Maybe then you could have a separate package for these settings, or even include them directly with the gconf package? The current gconf package effectively provides defaults that do not work. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Which is hacky :-)

That's really a branding thing: changing the default there to use firefox would not work either if firefox is not installed -- and that's really a branding decision. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
