The only way to close Banshee is via the tray icon. When I select "Maximize" from the Gnome toolbar, then the window is resized so that I can reach the menus at least. However, Banshee entirely crashes (screen becomes grayed out and application is non-responsive). We will be focusing both on automatic tweaks to the existing UI for smaller screens (netbooks), and also will be designing a new media center style UI that will be preferred for most activities on these smaller devices. As for the Crash/Freeze in comment #4, it's unrelated to this bug, but is likely fixed for RC1. It's been entered many times as a bug already.
