The answer to that is really challenging as it is not clear in which format it should be given (10, ten, t-en ?) and regardless of the correct answer in any format it often doesn't work, it says something like "wrong result". Doing a hard refresh on the page usually resolves the problem, as it sets a new math question for you. I experienced this differently. Refreshing the page ("Upper Case" Reload Page) didn't help in several cases I experienced. Matthew, this is not your fault - this is kind of the fault of some hundred people including myself. I experienced this for the first time at least a year ago and I know from several people who know that it doesn't work but haven't opened a bug yet. I had something similar in the test environment, but then it just went away all of a sudden. If other users are having this problem, it might be best to either wait a couple of weeks for the new release of this plugin. The plugin has not been updated in awhile, so it could have some issues with the current release of WordPress. I suspect the Threaded Comments plugin. However, I came across a plugin called Anti-Captcha. It uses javascript to create a hidden input field with a hash that will be compared to a server generated value. Since bots don't generally handle javascript, this serves the same purpose as any other captcha system.
