[Bug 702030] New: webdavs since openSUSE 11.3 extremly slow
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=702030 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=702030#c0 Summary: webdavs since openSUSE 11.3 extremly slow Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: tobias_9999@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.2.16) Gecko/20110319 SUSE/3.6.16-0.2.1 Firefox/3.6.16 I want to access a MS-Windows file server with a linux-client with webdavs via internet. As webdav client I use Dolphin or Konqueror. On the file server Microsoft Internet Information Services, version 6.0, is installed. The webdavs-server offers me a SSL-certificate, which I accept permanently in Konqueror. In OpenSUSE 11.3 or 11.4 the browsing through the folders or copying of files takes very long. Even if I install the latest updates/patches in 11.4 the problem is still there. In OpenSUSE 11.2 or 10.2 I have no problems (no matter if I install updates/patches or not). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Konqueror (or Dolphin) 2. Enter a URL like webdavs://exampleserver.com (you need a webserver with webdav and SSL-access configurated) 3. accept SSL-certificate 4. enter login/passwort 5. try to copy file on/from webdav-server Actual Results: The performance/access is extremely slow. Expected Results: The performance/access is as fast as it was in OpenSUSE 11.2 or 10.2. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

No, with openSUSE 12.1 it is solved. The performance is fine. Thank you very much! Do you know the reason for the problem and how it has been solved?
No, sorry. I only go through old bugs and look if they are still valid. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
