[Bug 1096303] New: ldap-server module failed to create directory
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1096303 Bug ID: 1096303 Summary: ldap-server module failed to create directory Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.0 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: wolfgang@rosenauer.org QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 772732 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=772732&action=edit setup log I tried the YaST ldap-server module. Unfortunately I found no documentation about it. The online documentation for Leap even while it's saying 15 seems still to describe the 42.x series. So I guess I just did something wrong but now I'm stuck. I filled everything in, the module was doing quite a lot of things but in the end threw an error. Now apparently I have a ns-slapd service running but I'm not sure if it's complete or not. When I restart the yast module it starts from scratch but it also fails if I try to use the same instance name again. So I don't know how to clean up and I can only guess what I did wrong. I will attach the yast2-auth-server-dir-setup.log -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
