I have a normal configuration, no packages or unknown repositories in my system except for Pacman and Libdvdcss (or whatever that is called). Ibus works on the text editor, on other applications, just not on these. It was working ok before, ibus and fcitx before had problems working in certain snapd and flatpak packages but never on those coming from the official sources of openSUSE. All my workarounds, restarting the daemon, restarting ibus, restarting the system, did not work. Fcitx on the other hand works fine, but I prefer ibus because it is easier to use with multiple language input.
