[yes/no] (no): Failed to provide Package libqt4-devel-doc-data-4.8.1-257.1. Do you want to retry retrieval? [KDE-4.8|http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/48/openSUSE_12.1/] Can't provide file './noarch/libqt4-devel-doc-data-4.8.1-257.1.noarch.rpm' from repository 'KDE-4.8' History: - libqt4-devel-doc-data-4.8.1-257.1.noarch.rpm has wrong checksum I selected it to not to be installed, but I didn't want to abort update of remaining packages. So I chose "ignore". Download of packages continued, however none of them was eventually installed. I think, that for such case there is "abort" option. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=755800 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=755800#c1 Michael Andres <ma@suse.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID --- Comment #1 from Michael Andres <ma@suse.com> 2012-04-05 09:48:00 CEST --- No, "ignore" will just ignore the download error but continue to download the remaining packages. The transaction however will not start unless all the required packages are present. Simply leaving out the package could lead to an inconsistent state of your system. - If this is a persistent error, you can lock/erase libqt4-devel-doc-data and retry the dup without updating libqt4-devel-doc-data. - If you are sure that leaving out the package is harmless, you can use dup together with download-as-needed. In this mode zypper should allow you to skip installation of a single package in the middle of the transaction if the download fails again. Once the transaction has started to modify the system, zypper should try to continue as far as possible. As you did not abort the 1st attempt most of the packages are already present on your system and the risk not being able to retrieve a package is quite small. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
