It makes it impossible to use Eclipse 4.x which constantly crashes. Other programs depending on WebKit may also be affected. It would be great if the project's patches could be applied. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852992 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852992#c2 --- Comment #2 from Tristan Miller <psychonaut@nothingisreal.com> 2013-12-12 15:43:56 GMT --- I just downloaded the source RPM for libwebkitgtk-1_0-0-2.2.2-4.3.x86_64, intending to submit a fix myself, but I see that the code there has already been fixed in accordance with the patch at https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118396. So even though the fix has been applied, for some reason I can still reproduce the crash using the procedure described in the bug description. The only difference is that I am using Eclipse 4.2 instead of Eclipse 4.3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852992 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852992#c3 --- Comment #3 from Tristan Miller <psychonaut@nothingisreal.com> 2013-12-12 16:31:29 GMT --- Upgrading to Eclipse 4.3 seems to have solved the problem for me. Perhaps I was experiencing https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=404776 instead of https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=400626. Nico, can you upgrade to libwebkitgtk-1_0-0-2.2.2-4.3.x86_64 and see if that fixes the problem for you? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

This time however without useful information on the command line. Reproduce: simply however over some functions until the tooltip shows and change to another function (until it eventually crashes) ========== No bp log location saved, using default. Maybe another eclipse bug but must be related to webkit. It's hard to identify though with this much information... :( -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
