http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1045894 Bug ID: 1045894 Summary: built in keyboard and touchpad are defect by tumbleweed with latest kernel Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: tschaefer@t-online.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- At my lenovo "ideapad 110s" tumbleweed has disabled touchpad and keyboard completely. Additionally the chipset is left in a unusable state. So the keyboard doesn't work after reboot/shutdown even in bios/grub-menu. Since the ideapad has only a no removable batteries and no real reset button the only method to get the keyboard working again was deep discharging the batterie. For me it is not urgent - my ideapad run tumbleweed just for testing. the keyboard test - failed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
