If I'm trying to remove any of options - system may be started but there is no picture on the screen (without acpi=off) or cannot be started at all, hanging (withoud lapic=off) I'm using Bublebee NVidia driver with G650M installed in this notebook. uname -a output: mynote:/home/ivan # uname -a Linux mynote.site 3.4.11-2.16-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Sep 26 17:05:00 UTC 2012 (259fc87) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

My ASUS G55VW would hang at "Starting udev" when UEFI booting the openSUSE 12.2 installer. The workaround was to enter "linux modprobe.blacklist=nouveau" at the ELILO prompt. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
