https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851509 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851509#c0 Summary: Please split gimp aa output plug-in to a separate subpackage Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jdelvare@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de CC: zaitor@opensuse.org, dimstar@opensuse.org, vuntz@suse.com Found By: Community User Blocker: --- When I install a minimum system on an old computer, I want to avoid installing packages I don't really need. Gimp draws libaa1 as a dependency for its aa output plug-in which I suspect 99% of the users don't care about. libaa1 itself draws gpm as a dependency, another package 99% of the users don't need. So can we please split the aa output plugin to a separate subpackage, and not install it by default? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
