[Bug 341310] New: kiwi: reboot oemboot images instead of booting into the system
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=341310 Summary: kiwi: reboot oemboot images instead of booting into the system Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: System Imaging AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: ms@novell.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- because the oemboot initrd repartitions the disk and adds partitions which doesn't exist in the original preload virtual disk before it happens that the original boot manager configuration of the virtual disk is not sufficient to directly boot into the system. According to this an oemboot initrd should activate the deployed system by a reboot. In that case the previously written boot manager configuration gets activated before the first boot of the system happens -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
