As root, upon login to kde4, the akonadi server attempts to start and fails it's self-test. Foe normal user the akonadi server attempts to start when opening kmail and fails with the same messages. When I try to do a reply, approximately 15-20 seconds later kmail freezes. When kmail is closed normally, the changes to message status are not updated. This error was also present in 11.3-M3 and may be associated with bug report 591483. No pertinent messages were found in system log files.
