The installation process must be invoked manually by invoking DHCP, entering the IP address of download.opensuse.org (nslookup:195.135.221.134) and entering the directory path ( /distribution/11.4/repo/oss/ ). This installation was invoked using openSUSE-11.4-NET-x86_64.iso . Note: There is no way to uninvoke VMWare Player's Easy Installation process. This from the VMWare Player 3.1 Release notes: "Currently available pre-release versions of OpenSUSE 11.3 might not work properly with Easy Install." This appears to still be a problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Creat VM in VMWare Player 3.1.3 2. Start VM which boots openSUSE-11.4-NET-x86_64.iso Actual Results: text gui error: "make sure installation is in CD 1."
