What I have found: When use a usb stick for installation made with opensuse 12.2 is not created a UEFI system, and then is not detected the UEFI partition, when with the same ISO image I burn a DVD I have 2 options use UEFI boot then the UEFI partition is detected and the installation works fine, when I boot from the DVD NOT using the UEFI boot, the UEFI partition is not detected. And logs can also be copied from the installation system without doing the actual installation. To install a UEFI system you have to boot using UEFI.
