...had it ever worked? What about suspend-to-ram?
Is there way to physically unplug/replug the device?
I've tested it with suspend to ram. No luck. The tablet part is integrated into the screen, no extra device (it's a "convertible tablet" where you can flip the screen). Restarting X doesn't help, LSR messages keep coming. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Tried
setserial /dev/ttyS0 irq 4 port 0x338 autoconfig
after resume. Didn't work.
Sorry, but you need may to restart the X server for this. Could you try this after resume: - logout from your session - login to a console as root - call: init 3 - call: setserial /dev/ttyS0 irq 4 port 0x338 autoconfig - call: init 5 - check in X if the tablet started to work again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I tried this sequence but with no luck. Sorry! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Ok, we probably have generic serial problem here. Could you try latest vanilla kernel by chance?
I have tried with the vanilla kernel 2.6.23 using the .config of 2.6.22.12-0.1-default from the latest openSUSE update. Unfortunately, now s2ram doesn't work any longer, neither with 2.6.22.12 nor 2.6.23. When starting the system I get "Linu" in yellow letters. The background light is turned down to powersaving after a few seconds, but that's about it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

...ok, this seems to be duplicity of the other wacom bug, but here reporter seems to went away...
Reporter is still here. Unfortunately I messed around with the machine and it doesn't turn on anymore. Hardware related problem. Will have to fix that first (if possible). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
