After the first two or three reboots I've payed a special attention at the shutdown process to observe if there is a message about unmounting - no such message appeared. The only thing unmounted is /proc. So the next boot time the filesystems has been reported as unclean and the fsck has been invoked. "zypper up" doesn't gave me a newer versions. Anyway, I've followed the bug story of #679671 as you proposed and patched manually /etc/init.d/halt as mentioned in one comment. I can report that it fixes my problem. I assume you now can close the current bug as identical to #679671.
