The result was a totally broken lilo.conf - have a look at the "default" line and the label of the first entry... # cat lilo.conf.broken-20080625 .. default = Qt_GUI_wanted_but_not_found,_falling_back_to_ncurses._ timeout = 8 image = /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18.8-0.10-default ###Don't change this comment - YaST2 identifier: Original name: linux### label = Qt_GUI_want append = "auto splash=silent showopts" initrd = /boot/initrd-2.6.18.8-0.10-default root = /dev/md1 The complete broken lilo.conf is attached, y2logs follow in a minute. Thanks for report. If bug is still valid in 11.0 please reopen.
