https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=638298 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=638298#c0 Summary: wammu 0.32.1 crashes doin configuretion Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: PC OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: mobile-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bernd-m.kemper@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.2.9) Gecko/20100824 Firefox/3.6.9 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0E) When i try to configure wammu for my Sony K800 mobile phone after typing the device address /dev/ttyACM0 and going to the next step, wammu (or wammu-configure) crashes with a segmentation fault, the error-log file is created, but empty. With the console-tool gammu-config i can create the cofiguration file and wammu works well. So i think the problem is not the hardware, but a bug in wammu-configure in the packet download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.3/repo/oss/suse/noarch/wammu-0.32.1-2.12.noarch.rpm. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. First time run of wammu or running wammu-configure 2. Entering the connection mode (USB) and the device adress /dev/ttyACM0 3. going to the next step Actual Results: segmentation fault Workaroung using console-tool gammu-config -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
