https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=205957 ------- Comment #1 from harbrink@bluewin.ch 2006-09-15 03:14 MST ------- Hmm ... my fault. I deleted the packaged mdadm, since I don't use raid. But obviously mdadm is used for the kernel upgrade. Perhaps you can make mdadm mandatory? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

But still I think the requirement should come from somewhere else, eg. yast2-storage, if we really need a hard dependency here. Other than that, I'd suggest that we test wether we have mdadm, and react accordingly. When mdadm is missing, prbably no RAID is installed, and we can skip this test. Andreas, what do you think? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Nevertheless it´s in SVN now, so a critical update will catch it up. Thought this is not worth a maint. update right _now_ Assigned to gp@ to decided for a maint. update. So Gerald please give me a go or close the bug as invalid. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
